ChargeLogic Connect Product Overview

ChargeLogic Connect is the only PCI validated payment gateway built exclusively for Microsoft Dynamics NAV. With its industry-standard web service interface, integration with nearly any e-commerce solution is possible. Once this link has been established, ChargeLogic Connect will be able to authorize customer credit card payments for web orders using an existing merchant account.

Once a web order is imported into Dynamics NAV, the ChargeLogic software running in the local database makes a request to the ChargeLogic Connect gateway and retrieves any authorizations associated with that order. Finally the order is shipped and invoiced from Dynamics NAV and ChargeLogic settles the authorizations directly with the payment processor without the use of any gateway.

This process delivers all of the benefits for e-commerce payments that ChargeLogic has always provided to payments originated from within Dynamics NAV, such as Level II and Level III qualification, authorized amount adjustment, and time-based reauthorization.

When using ChargeLogic Connect, an e-commerce site never needs to communicate credit card information directly to Dynamics NAV. This arrangement provides three major benefits:

1)  Dynamics NAV batch postings, maintenance periods, and downtime do not impact real-time web-based credit card authorizations;
2)  ChargeLogic Connect eliminates a bevy of potential security, reliability, and performance issues because it acts as a rendezvous point, rendering direct web-to-NAV communications unnecessary;
3)  ChargeLogic Connect is able to transport customer credit card data from the web into Dynamics NAV in a secure and PCI-compliant manner.
