ChargeLogic Newsletter - October 2009

ChargeLogic 4.0 Released!

We are proud to announce the release of ChargeLogic 4.0. In the September 2009 newsletter, we discussed the exciting new features of ChargeLogic 4.0, including the API/Virtual Terminal Granule.

Previous versions of ChargeLogic for the Role Tailored Client have used a connecting component to address some of the shortcomings of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009. With the release of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 SP1, which fills many of the functionality gaps of the original release, ChargeLogic 4.0 will no longer require the connecting component to run on the Role Tailored Client.

What this means is that ChargeLogic 4.0 for the Role Tailored Client will only be compatible with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 SP1. Customers and prospects on NAV versions predating 2009 SP1 will still be able to use ChargeLogic 4.0 on the Classic Client or upgrade their executables to 2009 SP1 for RTC support.

PCI Audit Status Update

Each new version of ChargeLogic must undergo an extensive independent PCI compliance audit to become certified as PCI compliant. ChargeLogic 4.0 has successfully completed this audit and is now PA-DSS validated. The PCI Council is in the process of updating their website to include ChargeLogic 4.0 validation.
