Cardholder Information Security Program
ChargeLogic Accepted by Visa into Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP)
ChargeLogic is Accepted into Visa’s Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP)
February 7, 2006, Baltimore, MD – ChargeLogic is pleased to announce their recognition by Visa’s Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP) Payment Application Best Practices. CISP is intended to protect Visa cardholder data–wherever it resides–ensuring that members, merchants, and service providers maintain the highest information security standard.
ChargeLogic’s acceptance into CISP comes as a result of their Payment Application Validation for Credit Card Processing which was based on the assessment and opinion of Fortrex Technology. Obtaining this recognition, shows the diligence ChargeLogic has in applying best practices to their product and processes. A CISP-compliant environment will minimize the potential for security breaches leading to the compromise of full magnetic stripe data or CVV2, and the potential for damaging fraud resulting from these breaches.
