ChargeLogic Certified by First Data EFSnet for Check Verification, Electronic Check Acceptance
July 28, 2006, Baltimore, MD – ChargeLogic has received certification from First Data EFSnet to process check electronically and to verify checks.
To receive this certification, ChargeLogic completed a series of extensive testing procedures required by First Data EFSnet. These tests required ChargeLogic to perform accurately in a wide variety of transaction situations. First Data EFSnet reviewed the transaction record and determined that ChargeLogic has met all requirements and can be certified.
As a result of the certification, ChargeLogic is now able to offer merchants a wider variety of electronic payment processing options. Electronic check acceptance allows merchants to accept check payments when the check is not physically available, like over the telephone or through the internet. For added security, the check verification certification gives merchants the tools necessary to identify potential fraudulent paper check writers.
