October 2005, Baltimore, MD – Fortrex Technologies conducted a VISA Payment Application Best Practices (PABP) audit for ChargeLogic. A senior Fortrex security engineer, utilizing best practices established by VISA, conducted documentation reviews, on-site interviews and application testing to collect data for the evaluation. Fortrex is a VISA-approved security assessor; however, the final certification decision will be made by VISA.
This audit is a required component of VISA’s Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP) which is intended to protect Visa cardholder data–wherever it resides–ensuring that members, merchants, and service providers maintain the highest information security standard.
