If the prepayment page is not associated with any existing customer in ARC/Business Central then it will be associated with the “Non-Designated Customer” as determined by the Supplier during ARC setups in BC:

Once the payment is processed in ARC it is then sent to Business Central and is noted in the Versapay ARC Log:

Users can open the Versapay ARC Log in Business Central and view all the data exchanged, including payments:

If we drill down on a payment that has come from a prepayment page you will see the following information has been transmitted. In this example, the individual user on the prepayment page, supplied their name (Rawan), phone number and email. They also supplied the Customer Name “Progressive Home”. In BC the customer name is “Walk-In Customer” as was identified as the Non-Designated Customer during setups. “Progressive Home” is noted as Reference 1.

Once the Cash Receipts post in Business Central, this payment will be on the “Walk-In Customer” ledger. A new customer, Progressive Home, will need to be created and the funds will need to be manually applied to the new Progressive Home customer account.

If the customer is a known ARC user and they login to make payment, the prepayment page would look like this:
